Milford Cubicle
Has eBay reinstated the luxury of sellers leaving negative feedback?
pogweasel
No, sadly not. I got one over a £1.20 car badge that the PO took 3 weeks to deliver. Total gash.
Richard
I read somewhere that you can get a negative feedback removed by putting profanity in the follow-up comment.
TheScrapman
I read somewhere that you can get a negative feedback removed by putting profanity in the follow-up comment.Really? Useful... I negged a lying thief a few weeks ago by calling him a lying thief. Ebay left the neg against him, but removed my 'slanderous' comment and replaced it with 'profanity removed'. Mr_Bo11ox
Ha ha, those eBay boys have really got a super slick system now havent they! Difficult to think how they could improve it any further. :roll:I have found that if you log into 'my eBay' via french ebay, you can leave any foul-mouthed tirade you like in feedback and their own swear filter does not pick it up. Ross_K
I think ebay have messed up with the removal of negging rights.I don't give a shit about my feedback score any more. I've started using about half a dozen different accounts so if I pick up too many negs I'll just stop using the account, move on to the next one and they can go whistle for their fees.I'm sure I'm not the only person who's had that idea. I only swear as I'm not literate enough to come up with anything more cleverer...p.s. thanks for the French tip!

I shall be doing that next time methinks. Meanwhile (as it's been bugging me for ages) who is that in your avater picture please Mr Bo11ox? Looks remarkably like one of Reeves & Mortimers's characters but not sure.
HillmanImp
Looks like John Shuttleworth to me, but i could be wrong.
Mr_Bo11ox
Correct, its John Shuttleworth, I think he's braving a bit of sea spray on his outing to the shetland isles.

Things have changed under new rules. If you swear, theirs will be removed, yours will be left in place.
