technically yes, but i decided to put the generation of escort.Im fast running out of space again, i have one clear shelf out of 4, and the rest are packed.I really like how minichamps put loads of detail underneath the car, i only have 4 of their models though.

Mr Lob, here's one you may be able to help with....catalogues. My last Minichamps catalogue is Edition 1 2008 I believe & have nothing since. I desperately need any for the rest of 2008 & all from this year too, do you keep any or know anyone who does? I used to get them from my contact / friend but that channel is no more. Without the catalogues it's impossible to keep track of all the ones I would like to get!Ta muchly for any help you can give :)

Excellent! Always worth asking...I was thinking they became unavailable once they were obsolete. So how many have I missed...2 & 3 from last year & 1,2 & 3 from this year? What would be the total £'s for those? Thanks

I'll ask the wholesaler tonight if they have any of them, would imagine they would have. They do become obsolete to a certain extent but it shouldn't be too difficult to get them still. You'll have missed 2&3 from 2008 and 1 and 2 from 2009 - not actually sure edition 3 has been out?Total won't be much, can't remember exactly what they cost us tbh! I'll let you know...

I have so far resisted paying over the odds from a foreign eBayer because I've been waiting for you to get it into stock! (same with the MkII Fiesta, MkII Passat, MkI Scirocco, Suzuki SJ, Opel Senator, MkII Polo, and a few others I still need that I can't remember right now :wink: )

Well, after my initial dose of massive scepticism, it does in fact appear that some more of the '80's Collection will be trekking across to these shores in the next few weeks!Early October we should have -Mk2 Fiesta GhiaOpel MantaOpel MonzaCitroen GSASeat RondaMk3 CapriTalbot SolaraRenault Fuegoand possibly other I can't remember

Why partworks like this dont come to Britain is beyond me.......

Presumably not enough demand and it takes a massive amount of money (possibly paid in brown envelopes, possibly not) to get WHSmiths and the likes to even stock magazines which probably makes it unviable.Noticed in France last week there must have been five or six different partworks for cars on the go at any one time.

Hmm, true, but I think theres probably enough market for a partwork of cars from the 70s/80s here, but deagostini and Del prado make the mistake of making the collections way too specialised, the rally car ones in particular. My mum is manager of Martins the Newsagent where I live, and the amount of partworks we sell here is sometimes crazy. I remember one guy bought EVERY SINGLE issue of the Fire Engine one, which if I remember correctly came from Smiths broken on about a dozen occasions.......But it is a very narrow market anyway, most people lose interest in partworks very quickly. I managed to get 30 editions of the Del Prado greatest cars series in 99/2000 when i was 9 :D But yeh youre right, when i went to Italy in 2004, there was at least 4 car partworks....

I need more Minichamps, but i dont know what to get, Id quite like a MKII Capri....

MkIIs shouldn't be a problem as they generally have less appeal, although not with me. The yellow one may be the hardest to find as it was the first release but they have done plenty of colours. I have the yellow, orange & green....think that's all
