You'll have a better choice of models and they will be easier to display.Price really does vary though depending on manufacturer, you'll probably end up with models by a few different manufacturers if you want all the cars you have owned though! To be fair they are not as good as Minichamps but the HA is a reasonably decent model. Some of the Oxford stuff is very good (new MG Magnette being one) but then is more expensive. I groaned when I saw they were going to do the MkI Escort when Trofeu & Minichamps had already given us decent examples in recent years - I thought 'what's the point? They won't be able to compete for the price, they'll just shoot themselves in the foot getting compared with some more expensive competitors!' Have to take my hat off to them though, their representation of the MkI Escort is my favourite, to me it is the best likeness & for that I am thankful they produced it! MrRegieRitmo Posted August 25, 2009 Author Share Posted August 25, 2009 I'll be poring over all of the Talbot Sunbeam models when they come out as they're one of my favourite cars - they must have read my mind, as being that they were churned out from a factory in Scotland (Linwood) I felt like suggesting to Corgi that they would be a good model to make as there is a lot of potential in it plus it's technically British! At the time I was thinking about it, IXO had not done theirs, so yet again Vanguards have brought something to the table that has been done by somebody else. Only 1 other company though & because we had to wait so long for a Talbot Sunbeam model from anyone, I think it's fitting that more than one company now wants to offer one!No such problem with the Nova though, as we now have several companies producing them, albeit we also had to wait a while for those. I should think I'll buy at least one though, in a different colour / spec to the ones I already have from Minichamps if poss!Still want that blue & white Avenger!
