bones96
anybody got a set of rear shocks for a nissan sunny just had mot and failed on rear shocks
pogweasel
Can you not just get some from your local motor factors? Surely not something that is hard to find for that age of Sunny. Personally, I would not touch used shocks, not worth the bother. I'm stripping down some BMW suspensiony bits later, and all the shocks will be binned straight off

Milford Cubicle
No MOT, pretty undesirable - it's only worth scrap value to be honest. Get it MOT'd! Sounds like there's bugger all wrong with it.
bones96
apart from what it failed on theres nowt wrong with it the current mot runs out 6/8/08 and new car forces me to rid this one
r.welfare
'Fraid I'm going to say race or weigh it, if you can't do the repairs on a DIY basis; new shocks and deseizing the front calipers is going to cost more than the car is worth if you pay someone else to do it
pogweasel
What sort of set up is it at the arse end? Semi-trailing or sommert? Rear shocks are obscenely easy to do if they are. An hour, tops to even the least confident home-twiddler. Again, de-siezing the front calipers isn't hugely hard. If a total car-tard like me can fix those things, anyone can. Even Peter Slinn.
