I'm not dead after all. Back in action again after keeping the Docs and nurses busy. Now just waiting for a carving job to be done (terrifying!)

The camera has had a bit of use though.

First from Trade Me the Queens local transport while slumming it in NZ

Only $200,000

What is GS8344 in the background?

Looks like a Vauxhall Viscount but I could be wrong. Incidentally whoever put those spazzy headlights on that hot rod thing needs a good shooing.

You wiil see that the rear bumper is discoloured..that is the Rotorua Disease caused by volcanic gasses which affect chromework

on SOME cars. I dont know why not all chrome is affected.

I wonder why they chose the name 'Le mans' for that pontiac, they might as well have called it the 'Elephant Island', its just as relevant.Syaing that, when it was a daewoo it was called a 'racer'... oval racer I guess.

Ironic in the same way as Mitsi Carisma, Honda Legend, Proton Persona, [insert other examples here] I guess.

Makes you wonder where they were built - one assumes by Daewoo in Korea, as they built the "Pontiac LeMans" for the US market in the mid-late '80s. I saw a few in Oz - even got down on my hands and knees and fondled the unrusted rear arch of one after a few beers (I used to own a Belmont see, but even so this was not typical behaviour) - but didn't cotton on what the badging was there; I assumed Holden.

No wai! That Pontiac Belmot Sedan Le Mans Astra saloon GLE is shite-tastic. How much is shipping likely to cost from over there to over here, assuming it went on deck rather than a container?

For starters the Peugeot 309 Style and the Nissan Micra Inspiration, but the Gold Medal Award must surely go to the NSU Quickly moped 8)

To be fair that Pontiac Le Mans is probably alright, I had a Belmont 1.6 for a while and it was a decent thing, fairly rapid, comfortable ride, handling didnt seem to be affected by the increased rear overhang, just a nice old car in general, certyainly wouldnt object to the same thing again but with a Pontiac grille just to fox people.
