Citroen AX GTi alloy wheels X 5, in very good condition considering the age. These will fit many cars in the PSA range (Visa, Saxo, 205, 306 etc).

Tyres have plenty of tread and aren't cracked but are old so I would suggest they be replaced. They are all 185/60/R13

Collection from Essex

Any interest in this OMP Helmet?

I bought it when I used to take my Impreza to Santa Pod, because it would run over their 110mph limit I had to wear a helmet.

As such it has probably been worn under 30 mins in total (put helmet on, press right foot into carpet for 13 seconds, stop, remove helmet) so there is very little of my DNA in it.

Comes with box and helmet bag (bag has a small grey mark on the top of it). Helmet is unmarked, no damage, never dropped. Hesketh sticker & Toyota sun strip obviously removable. I'd say the helmet is a medium size, it doesn't say on the box.

I don't think the helmet would be approved for any race series', but would be fine for track days, karting or drifting or whatever.

The cheapest new OMP helmet is around £75..... so £35 plus postage for this?

Wanted: 2x Renault steel wheels 15" to fit 2007 Clio 3. Tyres not required, just the wheels themselves.

Also, set of wheel nuts for fitting steel wheels, apparently current wheel nuts for the alloys on the car arent suitable for use with the steel rims.

Am looking for a half-decent 2nd-hand MIG setup, nothing fancy but in good working order, and easy enough for a total numpty to use. Either gas or easily-convertable-gasless. Preferably within striking distance of either N Wales or Hertfordshire. Budget is around £150, depending on how far away it is  :-)

Lidl are/were knocking out brand-new, warrantied arc welders (100A) for £39.99 and inverter welders for £69.99 - spotted in my local one on Saturday and I think posted about by someone on here recently. Reviews seem to be that its alright generally and pretty good for the price.

not sure if that helps

Its all a bit of a mystery to me, welders of all descriptions are magical devices that turn electricity into sunburn and glue metal together. I pay people far more competent than I ever will be to perform this magic on my behalf!

Thanks for the tip Stanky, but as DR says it's not ideal. A pro welder could probably work wonders with it, but it would be no use to me - I can remember trying arc at college and blowing huge holes through 5mm steel plate.

If I can't find a used one, I'm thinking of getting a £200 Clarke jobbie, but 1) that runs on tiny bottles and 2) I wouldn't have much left over to spend on a decent mask.

I got the £30 auto mask from Screwfix as a replacement for an old one and it does the job perfectly.

I also use a Clark pro 90 mig https://www.tool-net...CFWIq0wodWNUB_A and it has done about 10 years of work for me. Yes bigger is better but it has kept quite a few cars on the road.
