Evening All! An update from the 'burbs.

I have previously spotted the behind of this golf but had yet to capture a full frontal.

Cop a load of the bumper ties on that!

But less of the beast, here is some beauty. Simply badged 'Coupe'

GR8 spotz! Bet the headlamp aim's good on that VW convertible. I like the detailed advertising on the 2-door Volvo, "GOOD TIRES", no mention of what the mechanicals are like... Still, if that 99k is genuine then it'll be barely run in, especially going by US standards.

Some very interesting scrappage there. The early sixties Thunderbirds are lovely old things but not worth much, and the 2 door 760 Ovlov is gorgeous - almost Maserati Bituro-esque. The red E30 looks like the typical rubbish examples you see in the UK but it's a 325e, 2.7 economy model with the 125 bhp high torque Eta motor.Judging by the numbers of shagged K Cars still about it looks remarkably easy to be white trash in the US. I'd love it.

I really like those Volvo Coupes, Designated a 780 IIRC.Came with V6 or 2.3 4pot Turbos. Never sold in the UK for some reason, Last one I saw was on Swiss plates.Apparently they had rust issues, and didn't share any panels with the saloon. Handsome car though!

Here's a couple of bits and pieces from December.

I'm guessing this car has been in and out of fashion once or twice over the years but it was as clean as it looked and clearly loved.

Hudson

This is magnificent. Why does no-one make cars this cool anymore?
Couldn't agree more!! Also loving the black late '60s (I think!?!) Ford on big wheels. Superb spotting, as always. Aston Martin is MAGNIFICENT, but in absolutely no way shite!!
