Jeez, I think I would have had about eight guesses at what that was meant to be before arriving at LT.   Wouldn't have stopped me buying it, though!   I seem to remember having one of their Model A vans or summat and that was a bit crude, too.

Normally I wouldn't really bother with Lesney but.. you know.. the guy wasn't asking a lot really.. 1534098694498102239066164136532.jpg
Also I've had a couple of Studebaker Wagonaires before and never had one that still had the roof section intact 15340988512565392530362491534183.jpg

If they were full sized? It'd have to be the Mercury wagon and the Opel Diplomat for me.. I had the same Opel, albeit more fucked about thirty years ago and loved it. Still never actually seen a real one though.

After a short hiatus flat on my back in Capel Ward in Ipswich hospital, I am back with a bang, seriously custom shite done by a mate, and I'm getting resin right hand drive dashboards done for Ford Cortinas...oooh get me LOL, anyhow let's start with my former Atlas Editions Ford Capri 2.8i, which is now a much more humble Capri 2.0 Laser, with graphics done by my mate Tony Cooper, and registration plates by me. I relocated the exhaust pipe to the correct Pinto location, and it has a set6 of K & R Replicas white metal RS 4 spoke wheels and Vanguards tyres, as the K & R tyres are shit. I give Atlas credit though, the interior is 10 times more detailed than a Vanguards model!

Next up, AVANS, Eaglemoss Ascona C with it's Vanguards CD Cavalier cousin

Vanguards Tincorner mk4 in L flavour, with new numberplates

Vanguards Cortina mk4 1.6L front.JPG

And now here it is with 'family', all 4 shapes of Cortina, that white Taunus is in the queue for a RHD dash, and maybe some Crusader decals, will see

Model Cortina lineup.JPG

Me and my mate Tony Cooper are going to be collaborating on a charity code 3 Ford Cortina Crusader, in aid of the hospice where we lost 'oldford'. John was a good mate to us both, and we miss the old sod, and I thought it is a fitting gesture to remember him by. Anyhow, that is all for now. If anyone wants my mate Tony's details for comissions, please PM me

I’ve noticed late 1970s and 80’s Hot Wheels are starting to creep up in value. Even tatty stuff is worth hoarding.

Quick question. Got a pair of 1:87 HO cars both in white with sun damage [ gone partly yellow ] that could do with a respray. I haven't a hobby spray gun etc so could I use say some Tamiya Spray paint as used on model kits and does it require primer 1st ? Or will some Standard Car paint that I already have suffice?

Never tried painting plastic and these are rather small too which makes it more difficult. Or am I best off brush painting them with Humbrol paint? Though worried about it making them both look crap!
