quicksilver
Datsuncog is a bad man for offering so much diecast temptation. This assortment of goodies arrived at Silver towers yesterday. I particularly like the baby puke yellow SL - "Yes, I'll have your most expensive car in the most disgusting colour please". The trailer soon got put to more suitable use Datsuncog, RoadworkUK, sheffcortinacentre and 7 others

MarvinsMom
i'd .love Oxford to do a Metro, preferably a mark 2, in white with 3 doors..... dunno though if that will ever happen. i mean, while they do have BL/ARG history having done a mini, clubbie, allegro, princess? amd now i see a maxi is listed in the forthcoming releases, i live in hope. alternatively Vangardes have a history too of producing models of BL's finest* though i don't thinknthat many of those have been strong sellers in th e past. maybe one day someone will do a new model of the metro, it was a proper popular car back in the olden dayz, well was nearly always in the top 10 models sold here at least, and vangards do have both the nova and fiesta in their range...... Mr Lobster
I'd say there's a reasonable chance your wish might be granted at some point. A 1:76 Metro would be sellable although in reality whether a 1:43 would I'm not so sure... Corgi / Vanguards have done BL stuff in the past and it did not sell well so I'd be surprised if they went back there. Certainly if I was doing product planning I wouldn't be producing anything that was aimed largely at the UK market at the moment and models of BL stuff will only have limited appeal outside these fair isles. We'll be seeing new Corgi announcements for Q3/4 in a week or three so I'll let you know although I suspect the interesting announcements are going to be what they do in 2019... Off to see both Corgi and Oxford (time permitting) in the next few weeks so watch this space.
Felly Magic
I was genuinely shocked to see a CF Morrison full cowl ice cream van in 1/43 scale, and I'd say a 1/76 scale one won't be far away, Taff seems to have a knack of making things people want to buy, and come on £16 rrp for it? That is a cracking price for it, their Whitby Mercs were stonking value too, and I may code 3 one to the KLF's from the cover of Justified & Ancient. mercrocker
Any interest in these..............? Cararama 1/43 Subaru Impreza WRC Del Prado 1/43 BMW 320 Policia Del Prado 1/43 Fiat Marea Polizia all in original packaging as seen in pics, although the BMW cardboard has had the white facing peeled off underneath, leaving shameless naked buff card. None of them have been opened. £6 posted UK each, or two for £10, all three for £12. Burnside and Junkman
Frogchod
More waterslide experimentation. This time a replica of my old H van using a 1/24 Welly as a base. As usual for me it's driving the graphics software that's been my main hassle hence there's a few errors. I'm not that happy with the results close up but it looks ok from a distance. Much like the real van. Apparently there's some fancy modelling solutions to apply to reduce silvering and to aid application over uneven surfaces so I'll be trying them out on my next project. First pic is the real van ,then the Welly, then my results. Remspoor, bigstraight6, Pillock and 14 others
Felly Magic
I've had incoming, including the 'not Sweeney, honest guv' Mk2 Granada 2.8iS pre facelift. The certificate mentions it chasing old Jaguars on the telly box, and that it was part of Ford's pres & promotional fleet. Cararamalamadamadingdong P38 & Bond Miserati Trans Turbot came from a fb group unboxed n cheap, Rangey had no lightbar, and the Mierable had no mirrors, my spares stash found a perfect fit lightbar, and the mirrors are a smidge too big, but meh. The Rangey also had a nonsense reg plate, but now has an 'Essix innit' reg number, looks nice sat with my other plod models. Eagerly await further chod 59Impala, RayMK, eddyramrod and 5 others

Frogchod
The yellow bits are paint. The Martinet graphics are lifted from the first photo of the original van. Other bits are just whatever I could find close enough in my graphics software. Next time I'll get left and right correct, maybe on 1/12 Norse.
