59Impala
DiTella 1500, as sold in Argentina. A55 Mk2 Cambridge with a Riley frontage.I should insist on the full name but I can't be arsed But you are correct with model and country so you win! Didn't they also make a pickup version? Nice model of a rare car, presumably some kind of partwork I guess, I picked it up from the Ebay. 64A60, Junkman, eddyramrod and 2 others
59Impala
It looks like a Farina Wolseley,, but by the phrasing of the question I'm going to suggest it's one of the wide-bodied Australian models?Sorry Eddy, as you'll see it is the Argentinian Farina with a wondrous name. The Aussie Austin Freeway and Wolseley 24/60 were the ones that you're thinking of. Trax did a model of the Austin a couple of years ago but it sold out pretty quickly. I think there is a real Freeway over here. Junkman, mercrocker and eddyramrod

Junkman
Your wish is my command. However it is a Jetcar de Norev and thus made of metal unlike a real Simca 1500. It is parked with its plastic estate version complete with wonky opening tailgate. I also found a metal Norev Chrysler 180 the other day, remember buying that back in the 70's. IMG_1436.JPG IMG_1437.JPG IMG_1438.JPG IMG_1439.JPG Metal. Pah. Thank you so much for the pics, though!

NorfolkNWeigh
My hilairious* family bought this today, it's an almost exact replica of my V70, in its natural habitat, apparently. They've got a point it has been on a recovery vehicle 6 different times since I've had it.The spec is vaguely VW T5 but a different scale to the Volvo, which appears to be 1/36ish. mercrocker, Junkman, Laseraligningfoofooflanges and 2 others

Pillock
I was in Asda today and they had a similar Recovery set for £6.50 (although an RAC-ish Orange truck, and a different box) as well as a police Volvo with flashing lights and some other actually reasonably well modelled stuff. Even the Fast and Furious 1:18 stuff looked to be well made.
quicksilver
More new stuff from Oxford. The Gusset Brown Triumph is strangely appealing and the Cavalier is based on the one in the Vauxhall Heritage Fleet. RayMK
Nice backdrop of a typically haphazard industrial units type setting. The Triumph is particularly good looking. Laseraligningfoofooflanges and eddyramrod

quicksilver
Here's something I was pleased to get hold of. I'd been looking for the old Efsi Commer Walk-Thru for years but the few I came across were all going for silly money. Then at last weekend's model bus show, something interesting caught my eye among the usual piles of diecasts on the bring and buy stall. At 3 quid for the pair these were quickly snaffled. The green one is a repaint and a bit battered, but an early version with narrow wheels. Blue is a later one in good original condition.Dutch Commers by Adam Floyd, on Flickr Comparison with the new Oxford Diecast version and the resin kit by Road Transport Images (I'll get round to building it eventually)Commer comparison by Adam Floyd, on Flickr eddyramrod, Datsuncog, MarvinsMom and 5 others
MarvinsMom
ome more recent diecast additions, i had been bidding on fleabay for a Corgi Buick Riviera, but got snipped in the last few moments, so to make up for the dissapointment, i went out and got thesethe pontiac supirior critirion ambulance, its been played with, has its doors, light (dunno if it works) and original tires. one problem that i have since found with it though, been a full sized" yank station wagon its too flippin' long to go into the cabinate..... bugger!! "stardate 180318 - the ship is marooned on a strange world full of old crap...."its miussing its torpedoes and shuttle craft, and the stickers on the warp nacelles, but esencially its complete and the saucer section is still white, having not discoloured with age. i didn't have one of these when i was a kid, inspite been a big fan for Star Trek. i did have friends though who had one, so i do remember playing with one of these years ago. and anyone remember this heap? well it seems that the paint has fallen off (helped by some paint stripper) some paintage then occured further updates as and when, and depending on how it turns out! egg, eddyramrod, Datsuncog and 9 others
