Father Ted
12 MTHS MOT3 MTHS TAXMine for £300 - beige on the outside, beige on the inside, 3 door, smells of Old Man. I am soooooo tempted, but know the wife will go ape if I turn up home with it. This is the future of classic motoring, once there were thousands, now there are so few of the Mk2 beasties about. For me its a nostalgia trip back to 1986 (Ok 89 in this case...) Do I or Dont I?

Mr_Bo11ox
Do it! if you dont, some greebo will only nick its engine for his rotten old shitbox mini which will never see the road again.. Is it a 998 or a 1275?Pog will be along shortly to back up your wifes point of view of course.Get an LPG bottle on it for extra stinginess. Father Ted
Its in Kirkham (PR4 postcode).... Its a 3 owner 1275cc with 39K on the clock and a big raft of paperwork,. The only rust I can see is in the front vallance and is an easy repair. Even the grease nipples look loved and greased. I think Imay stop on my way home and leave a deposit...... pogweasel
Hello!Yes, I am sorry your wife has a point. Bringing that home should result in immediate suspension of bedroom activity at the very least. Hateful, vile miserable machines ergonomically modelled on the hunchbacked old biddy that was the target audience. On the upside, I do like the colour. AnthonyG
Buy it! anything in a colour reminiscent of the lighter background colour on here has to be worth having!
Mr Lobster
Buy it to preserve it for future generations (only so they know how shit they are however...)
Dukestar25
Go for it!!!Even if it fails it's next MOT (which is usually a certainty with these) £300 notes for a years motoring isn't to be sniffed at, (even if it is almost Hearing Aid Beige ) ... outlaw118
It's probably one of the most horrible things I've seen for a while!!!If you're going to preserve it, love it and keep it as a museum piece, great, if your going to thrash the living shit out of it, then have it crushed, I say WAHEYYY!!!!
