Who wants to see some pics of shagged Giulietta sills?

Well sorry, but you'll have to look elsewhere.

This is better than I'd dared hope for. Apart from a little bit of grot at the ends, the sills are completely solid. There's a bit of surface rust and peeling paint, but that's it. :D

For all you rust pervs out there, here's the not so good bits:

Mostly repairable with Kurust and Isopon, I reckon. This old crate is looking a more realistic prospect by the day. Now all I need to do is get it running right - I've replaced the plugs, next stop is the leads, then the cap'n'arm. I'm hoping I don't have to start fiddling with the carbs as they're sidedraught Dell'Ortos and look rather complex.

Oh, and the rev counter doesn't work either.

Increasingly looking like a keeper?

Well it probably would have been, if it hadn't been pikey'd while I was at work today. It's probably been fragged by now. I'm almost too fed up to get pissed off about it. Will still be ringing round the local metal merchants in the morning though to see if I can find out what happened to it. I found which yard the 245 ended up in, and I'm 90% sure who took it - can't be 100% though as they used a false registration to weigh it in with. If tomorrow's investigations give me reasonable grounds to believe that the Giulietta was removed by the same person, measures will be taken. I don't think I mentioned that the X1/9 was nicked'n'fragfed too - I'd lent it to a mate at the time and he's paying me for it, but we found out who took it (he made the mistake of trying to sell the wheels to a mate of a mate) and he has been "dealt with". Meanwhile I'm moving all my remaining vehicles away from that area over the weekend as it's only a matter of time before they go the same way.

BASTARDS!I hope the "dealing with" was suitably severe!Cant have anything these days. Ive had 2 shitters broken into and the Sierra vandalised in the last 12 months. Does make you wonder why we bother. But don't let them get you down. Chins up!

Bloody hell! That is bad news, for sure.Makes me wonder how many of us are "safe", generally. There's always one of the two 405s on my driveway at any one point in time without anyone in the house, usually a fair distance from the road though so a hiab would need to park on the drive to pick it up, and probably risk swinging it through the lounge window as it was winched on.
